Curtis Hollis Named Minority Business Accelerator Chief Operating Officer

The Minority Business Accelerator at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber announced today that Curtis Hollis has been named its Chief Operating Officer. Hollis will be responsible for enhancing and optimizing the internal organizational processes, workflows, and infrastructure required to enable the Accelerator to broaden its service capabilities and continue to execute against its mission.

“Curtis is a distinguished leader in the financial services industry and operations, who we are thrilled to have as part of the team,” says Darrin Redus, president of the Minority Business Accelerator. “The extensive experience Curtis brings along with his great understanding of financial services is a huge asset to the Accelerator team and our ability to make a deeper economic impact in our region and nation.”

Hollis brings 29 years of senior executive banking experience in operational effectiveness, product development, revenue generation, credit risk, and strategy development. He is a graduate of Tennessee State University with a degree in Business Administration. He is also a University of Washington graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS). Hollis has made significant contributions in the communities where he has worked and lived, serving on multiple philanthropic nonprofit boards. He currently serves as the Finance Chair for the Urban League of Greater Southwest Ohio. Prior to joining the Chamber, Hollis served as Senior Vice President at Key Bank responsible for leading the South & Central Ohio Region which includes Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Mansfield.

“It is an incredible time to come in and help build upon the success the Accelerator has had over the past 18 years,” said Hollis. “I look forward to playing a pivotal role in the success of this already nationally-recognized team and its best-in-class model. I know more monumental, economic successes are to come – for our region and nation.”
