Brian Gwyn | Cincinnati Market President, Mercy Health

Summary:
Brian Gwyn is the executive leader of Mercy Health – Cincinnati. He is responsible for all Cincinnati market operations, helping to advance our Mission to extend the compassionate ministry of Jesus and foster a culture of innovation, growth and excellence to deliver quality, compassionate care to our communities. Brian will oversee Mercy Health – Cincinnati’s leadership team, which includes the facility presidents of the six Mercy Health hospitals in the market.
Brian brings more than 25 years of health care experience to his new role. He joined Mercy Health in February 2023 from Atrium Health, a nonprofit health system based in Charlotte, NC, where he served for nearly 15 years in a variety of leadership roles.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree, as well as a master’s degree in family and consumer services, from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. He earned his master’s degree in business administration in health care from Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC.
