Cincinnati Intern Network Connection | CINC

A summer event series, hand-crafted by local leaders and volunteers, exposing interns and co-op students to all that Cincinnati has to offer.

Internships and Co-ops launch careers—but growth doesn’t stop at the job. Today’s emerging professionals build critical skills through connection: networking with peers, learning from industry leaders, and engaging in experiences beyond the workplace.

To support the growth and success of interns in the Cincinnati region, the Cincinnati Regional Chamber and the local business community created the Cincinnati Intern Network Connection (CINC).

What is CINC?

CINC (Cincinnati Intern Network Connection) is a summer event series designed to help interns and co-op students make the most of their time in Greater Cincinnati. The program brings together interns from across industries and schools through free, engaging events that showcase what makes the region unique.

Through CINC, participants build friendships with other interns, expand their professional networks, and explore local opportunities, experiences, and communities throughout the region. The program is intentionally designed to help interns feel welcomed and connected while also gaining a deeper understanding of the place they are living and working.

Events & Opportunities for Interns

The best way to get involved in CINC is by attending its summer event series. These events are designed specifically for interns and co-ops, and are free to attend—making them an easy and accessible way to get connected early in the summer.

CINC Kick-Off

Our kickoff will feature engaging activities, special guests, and a few zoo friends, creating an inclusive, high-energy experience that reflects the unique character of Cincinnati.

CINC at Cincinnati Reds

What is summer without at Major League Baseball Game! The Cincinnati Intern Network Connection Program (CINC) will converge at Great American Ball Park to see Cincinnati Reds take on the Milwaukee Brewers on June 23.

Queen City Connect

Join us for an engaging session focused on navigating the transition from student to professional in today’s evolving Greater Cincinnati workforce.

FC Cincinnati Experience

Join fellow interns and co-op students for an unforgettable party at Washington Park and then head over to cheer on FC Cincinnati as they take on Vancouver at 7 p.m. Wrap up your CINC experience the best way possible—together!

CINC is a series of free summer events, hand-crafted by local university, corporate and community leaders, exposing interns and co-ops to all that Cincinnati has to offer by connecting students to each other and the region.

We believe interns/co-ops will choose Cincinnati to start their future when they:

  • Envision success in their chosen field
  • Develop connections and friendships with other people in the area
  • Know where to find the services, activities, and types of events they enjoy
  • Receive a positive, well-rounded internship experience that goes beyond the walls of their company and makes them feel included
  • Experience what makes Cincinnati unique and attractive
