Over the past decade, bi3 has invested more than $125 million to make our region healthier. They work with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and public-sector leaders to support initiatives that spur innovation and address key issues, including youth mental health, maternal and infant health, and access to care. Together, they aim to build a resilient and more vibrant region.
bi3 takes a partnership-driven approach that sets us apart from traditional philanthropy. They work side-by-side with the organizations and communities we support, listening first, funding what they know works, and giving them the flexibility and trust to adapt as needs change. Rather than prescribing solutions, they invest in their expertise and provide support beyond the grant when helpful.
As a new Momentum Investor with the Chamber, bi3 highly values its relationship with the Cincinnati Chamber, viewing it as a critical link connecting the business, nonprofit, and public sectors. They are dedicated to building strong collaborations among these groups because they see them as essential for improving health outcomes and ensuring long-term regional success.
By collaborating, businesses, philanthropy, and government can coordinate their investments, expand successful initiatives, and improve the community’s overall vitality. Aero Velocity, a Silver Member of the Cincinnati Chamber, is a Cincinnati-based drone company focused on building and deploying advanced aerial systems for real-world applications. Their work spans both in-house drone manufacturing and field operations, giving them a unique perspective on how these systems perform outside of a lab or test environment. From their base in Cincinnati, they support organizations across the U.S. with drone-based inspection, cleaning, and data collection services, while continuing to develop and integrate systems designed for demanding commercial and government use.
What surprises most people is the range of what drones are actually being used for today. They’ve cleaned commercial buildings and water towers without lifts, supported inspections on wind turbines, maritime vessels, and industrial assets, and worked with government programs like the USDA and U.S. Forest Service to scan more than 16,000 acres of farmland using advanced sensor imagery. They’ve so supported environmental efforts in at-risk ecosystems where traditional access is limited or disruptive, including situations where drones were the only practical way to get the job done.
Drone technology is changing the way work gets done, making operations safer, faster, and more informed. At Aero Velocity, that spans both real-world field operations and the development of drone systems that support them. For Aero Velocity, it is about building relationships with partners and teams who are open to improving how work gets done and bringing new approaches into existing operations. The Chamber has been a strong platform for Aero Velocity to connect with organizations across the region that are actively building, operating, and maintaining commercial and industrial assets, including energy infrastructure like wind turbines, oil and gas storage tanks, and agricultural programs leveraging sensor imagery for large-scale land analysis.
If you are interested in seeing how drones can enhance your current workflows or help solve real operational challenges, Aero Velocity is happy to share what they are seeing in the field and where this approach is making an impact. Connect with them on LinkedIn
Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers, located in Loveland, OH, is one of the oldest family-owned funeral homes in the nation and they continue to expand with the needs of the surrounding communities.
Since 1840 and across six generations, Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center has remained family-owned and community-focused. What makes their story particularly interesting isn’t just the longevity — it’s how their history reflects the quiet evolution of how communities approach remembrance.
Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers represents a tradition where care for the deceased is deeply tied to care for the living. Over time, they have expanded to serve multiple communities in various, diversified ways including funeral and cremation services, custom monument design production along with pet cremation services.
Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers may be a new Silver Member with the Chamber, but they are no stranger to the growing Cincinnati region. There’s something quietly powerful in this new partnership. While most Chamber members are working to create what’s next, Tufts Schildmeyer can carry what came before. It’s less about commerce and more about continuity, connecting the ambition of the present with the memory of the past.
