Chamberlain University, a Covista institution, educates, empowers, and emboldens a community of healthcare professionals who seek to advance the health of people, families, communities, and nations. Chamberlain is the largest school of nursing in the U.S., with both on-campus and online degree programs. Chamberlain is comprised of the College of Nursing and the College of Health Professions, offering a variety of bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and certificate programs and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (hlcommission.org).
Chamberlain is coming to Cincinnati to work alongside the educators and health systems already invested in this region’s healthcare future, helping to grow a pipeline of nurses who will train in the region and stay to serve the community. This will be Chamberlain’s 25th campus and second campus in the state of Ohio, joining Columbus which opened and began educating nurses in 2007.
Chamberlain University was recognized as a Carnegie Foundation “Opportunity College and University” in 2025, a designation for institutions that expand access to education and deliver strong economic outcomes for graduates (*applies to undergraduate students at campuses in AZ, FL, GA, IL, MO, OH, TX, VA, and IN). This recognition reflects Chamberlain Care®, a philosophy grounded in a simple belief: that the right support, at the right time, changes trajectories.
Chamberlain University, a new Momentum Investor of the Cincinnati Chamber, entered the Cincinnati market with the launch of their new campus, and sees the Chamber as a community partner as they establish a presence in Cincinnati. With nearly 50,000 open healthcare jobs in the region and six openings for every graduate, their goal is to work alongside the employers and organizations already invested in this community — not operate apart from them. They are accepting their first class of students now and plan to be a long-term partner for Cincinnati’s healthcare future.
Chamberlain University Cincinnati is holding a grand opening and ribbon cutting event on Thursday, August 20. All Cincinnati Chamber Members are welcome to attend. For RSVP details, please contact Celia Dewyer at celia.dewyer@covista.com
