The Cincinnati Regional Chamber has announced the first two investments from its Cincinnati Civic Impact Fund (CCIF), a strategic investment initiative with a goal of accelerating innovative projects that support the region’s long-term growth.
The inaugural investments will support the development of a public-facing Growth Map of Cincinnati’s urban core and Cincinnati Art Week, an initiative focused on elevating the region’s arts and cultural community.
Launched by the Cincinnati Regional Chamber Foundation in partnership with the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, the Civic Impact Fund brings together individual and institutional supporters to provide targeted seed funding for high-impact projects. The Fund is designed to act as an idea accelerator, providing seed funding for innovative programs, research and partnerships that can drive meaningful change. Its flexible approach allows the Chamber to respond to emerging opportunities, encourage new civic leadership and help promising initiatives gain momentum.
Mapping Cincinnati’s Growth
Building on the Chamber’s Center for Research & Data’s 2025 Economic Impact of Findlay Market report, the Civic Impact Fund will invest in a partnership with KZF Design to develop a comprehensive Growth Map of planned development and investment across Cincinnati’s urban core.
The public-facing tool will bring economic development projects together in one visual resource, helping residents, businesses, developers and civic leaders better understand the scale of investment and development taking shape throughout the city.
Once complete, the Growth Map will help tell the story of what’s changing in Cincinnati, provide a foundation for measuring the impact of economic development and paint a picture of what the future holds for the region.
Elevating Cincinnati’s Creative Community
The Fund’s second investment will support the inaugural Cincinnati Art Week, an initiative focused on celebrating and elevating the region’s arts and cultural community.
Taking place October 3-10, Cincinnati Art Week connects residents and visitors with exhibitions, conversations, creative experiences, public programming and the people shaping Cincinnati’s cultural landscape. Throughout the week, empty storefronts throughout Over-the-Rhine will be transformed with art exhibits, opportunities to meet artists and learn more about the artistic community and culture that makes up our city. Cincinnati Art Week also serves as the connective tissue between the Foto Focus Biennial and BLINK, two of the region’s largest artistic events, allowing more opportunities for local artists, especially, to showcase their work and visitors to experience the creative economy that helps drive our city.
