Leadership Cincinnati L: Alumni Edition

Leadership Cincinnati L is a special edition experience for accomplished graduates ready to deepen their legacy of impact and commemorate 50 years of Leadership Cincinnati. Building on five decades of leadership excellence, this immersive program reconnects alumni—established executives and civic leaders—who remain committed to shaping the future of our region.

50 Years of Leadership

Leadership Cincinnati is more than just a program—it is a celebration of what a city can achieve when leaders come together with a common goal: to create a thriving Cincinnati region where everyone belongs. Over the course of the next year, we will further our impact through a special Leadership Cincinnati Alumni Program. We will honor the work of civic leaders across 50 cohorts. And we will drive alumni of all of our programs toward service and civic action.

Leadership Cincinnati 50: Alumni Edition

Program Objectives

  • Reignite past alumni of Leadership Cincinnati around a few key topics of regional importance in Cincinnati
  • Connect people who are looking for their next life mission with organizations and regional efforts
  • Explore the approach leaders from other regions take in tackling topics
  • Increase connectedness between alumni of Leadership Cincinnati
  • Elevate leadership capacities of those who are ready to double down on Cincinnati
  • Activate alumni network of Leadership Cincinnati to build out and support future alumni activity

Target Participants

Alumni of Leadership Cincinnati who are interested in reengaging in Cincinnati’s issues of civic importance.  Not an alumni? Check out Leadership Cincinnati.

Curriculum

Leadership Cincinnati L (Alumni of Leadership Cincinnati only) focuses on reconnecting alumni of Leadership Cincinnati to the region’s key pressing topics. LCL will take the cohort deeply into three to four issues in partnership with the local organizations leading collaborative efforts to move the needle on outcomes for those issues. Selected participants will dive into each of the issues but will engage on a more intentional level with one of the organizations.

The kick-off will coincide with the kick-off of Leadership Cincinnati, Class 50 and the Annual Leadership Center Celebration. The program includes a trip to another city that will either be Indianapolis or Cleveland to explore how our region’s approach to core issues is similar and different to that of others.

Topics

Potential Topics are under consideration now and will be finalized prior to individuals confirming their acceptance into the program in June.

  • Housing
  • Safety and Justice
  • Education and Mentorship
  • Workforce & Talent
  • Economic Development and Placemaking
