Chamber Advocacy Council Meeting – Expanding Your Perspectives: Essential Insights for Making Informed Choices at the Ballot Box this November

At this session, we will delve into a non-partisan dialogue about the state of our political and civic landscape against the backdrop of the 2024 Primary Results and as we approach the 2024 General election. This conversation, moderated by Sean Comer, Vice President of the Leadership Center, will be between two of our region’s leading and practicing political academics, Andy Lewis, Executive Director of the Portman Center for Policy Solutions, and Mack Mariani, Interim Director of Philosophy, Politics, and the Public Program at Xaver University.

Our esteemed speakers,Andy Lewis and Mack Mariani, have backgrounds that cover the spectrum in American Politics with respective focuses in religion and politics, and women and politics. They will explore the ramifications of divisive elections, offer strategies for navigating the dynamic political climate within the workplace, and discuss strategies deployed on their own campuses to bring diverse opinions together.

Our moderated conversation will take place from 4:30-5:15 pm, followed by cocktails and networking until 6 p.m.
