Kendra Bumphis

Kendra serves as Government Affairs Manager, Civic Strategy & Policy, leading advocacy, public policy, and stakeholder engagement efforts that advance the Chamber’s priorities. She oversees legislative and regulatory monitoring, policy analysis, government relations, and advocacy initiatives focused on key business and community issues.  Working closely with elected officials, community leaders, and business stakeholders, Kendra helps strengthen connections between the business community and policymakers while supporting strategic communications, policy development, and Government Affairs programming.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Kendra earned her BA in Political Science, graduating Cum Laude, and holds a certificate in Public Relations. Originally from Carmel, Indiana, Kendra fell in love with Cincinnati and all the city has to offer during her college years, making it her home.  When she’s not cheering on her favorite football teams with her husband, Todd, Kendra enjoys exploring Cincinnati’s many parks, hunting for unique finds while thrift shopping, and diving into a good book. She loves discovering new reading spots around the city, whether it’s at a park or a cozy café.
