2026 DUKE ENERGY BUSINESS RELIEF GRANT

Small businesses in the Cincinnati region impacted by recent flooding and severe weather will have access to new recovery resources through a $100,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation, in partnership with the Cincinnati Regional Chamber.
The funding will provide grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 to eligible small businesses in Southwest Ohio. The program is designed to help businesses recover from storm-related disruptions while making investments that strengthen their operations for the future.
“Small businesses play an essential role in the strength and growth of the Cincinnati region, and when unexpected events disrupt their operations, a strong regional response matters,” said Brendon Cull, President & CEO of the Cincinnati Regional Chamber. “We appreciate Duke Energy stepping up with resources that will help businesses recover, retain jobs and continue contributing to their communities.”
Eligible businesses must have 50 or fewer employees and be a Duke Energy Ohio business customer in Butler, Brown, Clinton, Clermont, Hamilton or Warren counties. Funding may be used for infrastructure repairs, cleanup costs, replacement of inventory and equipment, temporary relocation and employee support.
“When severe weather disrupts a small business, the impact extends beyond the physical damage to employees, customers and the surrounding community,” said Amy Spiller, president of Duke Energy Ohio & Kentucky. “By working with the Cincinnati Regional Chamber, we can help businesses address immediate recovery needs and continue contributing to the economic strength and vitality of our region.”
Applications are open through 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2026. Grant recipients will be selected through an application review process with recipients expected to be notified in late September. Businesses can apply via this link.
