The Cincinnati Regional Chamber today announced its support for the Great Parks of Hamilton County renewal levy, issue #34, which will appear on the November ballot for Hamilton County voters. The renewal levy, first approved by voters in 2016, will not increase taxes, but will continue funding for capital projects and maintenance across the county’s extensive park system.
Great Parks’ 22 parks and conservation areas span more than 18,000 acres of green space, including 25 miles of river frontage and 84 miles of trails—much of which has expanded in recent years into Greater Cincinnati’s urban communities. These investments have created places for recreation, relaxation, and connection for residents throughout the region.
Beyond their environmental and recreational value, Great Parks are a powerful economic engine for Hamilton County, generating an estimated $138.6 million in annual economic impact and supporting nearly 4,000 local jobs.

Funds from the renewal levy will be used for ongoing maintenance, infrastructure improvements, and capital projects ensuring the preservation and enhancement of parks, trails, and natural areas for future generations.
