I have had a chance to meet some great people, good friends. When I moved here, I had 8,000 new friends because Fifth Third has such a large presence. Many colleagues have welcomed me and my family to the area. There’s so much to offer – whether sports, arts, food or cuisine. I love all things you can do in the community.
I’ve garnered most of my support from a personal board. They are vested in my personal success. They are all trusted advisors who play a unique role – some have industry experience, some are mentors. All of which share are common interest of wanting me to be the best version of myself. I’ve met them in my personal journey. They each have a unique role. Where I consistently get a tremendous amount of good advice and as I make big decisions, I lean on that board now and will continue to do so in the future.
My parents created a legacy of public service. I believe very deeply in public service. I hope to leave my fingerprint on this community and giving back. Also, a legacy of being a good husband and father.
This is a very competitive market. We have a chance to compete with some of the best markets in the country. I’d like to play a role in economic growth and entrepreneurship. I hope we continue to attract the very best talent and companies. Personally, I’d like to see this place a community my family and I continue to call home.
