Cincinnati, Ohio (January 18, 2024) – The Cincinnati Regional Chamber announced today that Liz Keating will join the Chamber as the Vice President of Government Affairs and Advocacy, effective February 6, 2024.
Former Councilmember Keating is a well-respected, diligent, and effective leader in the public and private sectors. In her three years on Cincinnati City Council, Keating built a track record of bipartisan accomplishment and common-sense policy efforts that focused on growing the City’s economy. Her career has spanned both public and private sector roles; in addition to serving on Council, Keating was the Engagement Strategist at UC Health, and spent the last ten years as Marketing Director for The Jim Stengel Company.
“I’m excited my next chapter will be focused on helping my hometown region flourish by building coalitions; connecting business leaders to their policy makers; and advocating directly for more investment and growth,” said Keating. “We have so much opportunity in the Cincinnati region, and the Chamber’s efforts to ensure a growing economy and population will help our entire region thrive.”
The Cincinnati Regional Chamber serves more than 3,000 businesses in the 15-county MSA, advocating for a wide range of pro-business and pro-development policies in City Halls, County offices, State Capitals, and Washington, D.C. Keating will lead a team that includes Will Gerhardt, Manager of Government Affairs, and Madison Kutruff, Event & Program Coordinator. Keating will report to Brendon Cull, President & CEO of the Chamber.
“Liz has a natural ability to earn the trust and respect of those she works with,” said Cull. “She’s deeply interested in how policy affects people and business, and she has honed an incredibly effective skill of helping others see how positive changes can be made. I’m thrilled she’s joining the Chamber team.”
