Ohio is facing a critical childcare shortage that is hindering workforce participation, slowing business growth, and costing the state billions. A recent analysis by the U.S. and Ohio Chambers of Commerce estimates that Ohio loses $5.48 billion every year due to childcare-related workforce disruptions, including $1.5 billion in lost tax revenue.
