Dr. Hanycz is the 35th President of Xavier University and the first layperson and woman to serve in this role in Xavier’s 190-year history. Xavier, which has become a staple in our region as an NCAA Basketball powerhouse, is also making waves in academia as a whole. From their first-class undergraduate program with record enrollment numbers, to the highly ranked and highly touted Executive MBA program, and the recent announcement of the plan to establish the nation’s first Jesuit College of Osteopathic Medicine, there is a lot to talk about when it comes to Xavier.
