At this session, we will hear from Jessie Balmert and Haley BeMiller both reporters with USA Today Network Ohio Bureau. Jessie Balmert covers state government and politics for the USA TODAY Network Ohio Bureau, which serves the Columbus Dispatch, Cincinnati Enquirer, Akron Beacon Journal and 18 other affiliated news organizations across Ohio. Haley BeMiller is a state government and politics reporter for the USA TODAY Network Ohio Bureau. Before arriving in Ohio, she reported on local government and politics in Wisconsin and covered the Illinois General Assembly. She was named a Livingston Award finalist in 2021.
