This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from one of Ohio's most influential leaders about key developments in our region and how the government is working with the business community to support economic growth.
As Lt. Governor, he has focused on making Ohio the best state in the Midwest to do business, leading the way on the Ohio Common Sense Initiative and serving as director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation and InnovateOhio.
These are – among other efforts – key growth initiatives and programs for businesses and entrepreneurs in Ohio, and we have certainly felt their impact on our region.
During his keynote, he will discuss economic and workforce development opportunities, challenges, and solutions, specifically focusing on the impact on the Cincinnati region, including:
- Major economic development projects such as Intel, Honda, and others coming to the state and they’re effect on the Cincinnati region
- Workforce development programming offered through the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, including Tech Cred, Individual Micro-credential Assistance Program, and Industry-Recognized Credentials
- Efforts he is leading through the Ohio Common Sense Initiative (CSI) to improve Ohio’s regulatory climate for businesses and entrepreneurs
Following his keynote, Lt. Governor Husted will answer your questions and share more insights during a Q&A session.
