It is almost time for one of the most special nights of the year! This Thursday, March 2nd we celebrate our region’s business community, honor our Great Living Cincinnatians and recognize our Making Black History leaders at the Cincinnati Chamber Annual Dinner, presented by PNC Bank.

The 2023 Class of Great Living Cincinnatians features four individuals who have left an indelible mark on our region. They are servant leaders, mentors, and friends. The Chamber is honored to recognize Donald P. Klekamp, Janet Reid Ph.D., Larry A. Sheakley, and C. Smith as Great Living Cincinnatians.

Our #MakingBlackHistory celebration, now in its fifth year, recognizes seven Black leaders living and working in our region creating legacies today. We are honored to recognize Claudia M. Abercrumbie, Derrick Braziel, Christie Kuhns, Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney, Rosemary D. Oglesby-Henry, Liza Smitherman, and Marcus Thompson as leaders who go the extra mile for their community, excel in their respective fields, and open doors for the future leaders coming up behind them.

Additionally, the 2023 Annual Dinner will recognize a momentous transition of leadership at the Cincinnati Chamber. It is bound to be an emotional and reflective night as I attend my last Annual Dinner as CEO. However, I am honored to welcome Brendon Cull as the next Cincinnati Chamber President and CEO. Brendon has been my partner and the architect of so much of what the Cincinnati Chamber has accomplished over the last seven years and there is no better leader to serve our members.

Finally, we have some exciting news from British Airways and CVG! All registrants for the Annual Dinner will be entered to win two Roundtrip Business Class tickets on British Airways from CVG to London Heathrow.

You don’t want to miss Cincinnati’s premier business event of the year – so if you haven’t already, secure your spot here.
